However besides your kitchen countertop, granite is steadily finding its way on top bathroom vanities, shower walls, tub surrounds or your family room fireplace, this stone will very easily withstand everyday wear and tear and remain the focal point of any room.
It is recommended that a seal is maintained since it still will absorb liquids left on its surface, at a slower rate than other natural stones, yet nevertheless it is a good idea to help insure the longevity and quality of a fabrication and installation job well done.
